• You won’t believe this, but Coca-Cola is supporting the American Academy of Pediatrics website. In return, they get to display their logo, and AAP says that they’re friends of kids, or some such.
    This in face of the overwhelming evidence that sweet, carbonated beverages are the main villains in pediatric obesity and adolescent malnutrition. I’m a fellow of the AAP, and it really hurts to see my academy sell out. Of course, I’ll write an angry letter decrying this sellout, but it’s hard to believe it happened at all.
